Amy has been writing and facilitating trainings in the fitness and wellness industry for over 15 years. She is an intenSati Master Trainer, CoreFit Health and Fitness Master Instructor, and 500 E-RYT yoga and mediation teacher. Prior to Alchemy Yoga, she wrote the Yoga Teacher Training manuals and programming for LifePower Yoga and served as a Master Trainer for LifeTime. Amy's creative spirit, passion and heart help guide her students to the depths of self-discovery on and off the mat.

Sarah has been teaching yoga and training yoga teachers in Greater Philadelphia for over 20 years. She is is a 500 E-RYT trauma-informed yoga and meditation teacher, psychic-medium, reiki/source healer and past life regression therapist. Her magnetic spirit, her zest for life and the depth of her knowledge, leave each soul she touches a little lighter and brighter. 

Grace began her yoga journey at 16 years old with her first introduction into vinyasa flow classes. After being introduced to the philosophy side of yoga in college, she quickly fell in love with the integration between the body and mind that the practice of yoga has to offer. This led her to pursue her 200 RYT in 2022. Since then, she has developed a love for meditation, breath work, inversions, and reiki.

Pyung completed his Yoga Teacher Training in 2022 and since then he has been avidly teaching. His classes are grounded in breath, mindfulness, and yoga philosophy and his teaching combines strength and structure with kindness and presence— offering students a space to grow, heal, and transform.

FAQ's

Who is Yoga Teacher Training for? Yoga Teacher Training is for anyone who wishes to deepen their yoga practice or journey deeper into the depths of themselves.

Are there any prerequisites prior to enrolling in Yoga Teacher Training? All you need to embark on this transformational journey is an open heart and mind. No prior yoga experience or training is needed.

I'm not sure I want to teach yoga. Is Yoga Teacher Training right for me? Plenty of our students who have gone through Yoga Teacher Training have come in with no intention of teaching. This training will prepare you to teach should you decide to in the future, but more than learning to teach a yoga class, this training will deepen your experience of yourself and your yoga journey.

How much does the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training cost? The 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training costs $3,200 for Alchemy Yoga Unlimited Monthly Members and $3,450 for non-members and class package holders (this includes an unlimited monthly membership for the duration of Yoga Teacher Training).

Are there any other costs besides tuition? Yes, you will need to get the required reading/books for the program. Most of these books are also available at your local library and if you need assistance with this, talk to your facilitator.

Are there payment options or discounts available? Yes! We offer both a pay-in-full option as well as a payment plan. If you choose to pay-in-full, you save $400 off the cost of training. In addition, there is an early bird discount. If you register for training prior to 12/15/2025 and use the code EARLYBIRD, you can save an additional $200. In total, there are $600 worth of savings.

How old do I need to be to participate in Teacher Training? All participants must be 16 or older to participate in the training. All participants under 18 will be sent an enrollment agreement to be signed by their guardian.

What is the time commitment for the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training? The exact days and times will depend upon the program session, but in every 200 YTT, there is 180 hours of required in-person contact hours; the other 20 hours are left for your completion of homework/assignments.

I have a full-time job. Can I still fit Yoga Teacher Training into my schedule? Our Teacher Training programs bring flexibility to those with a busy schedule and most participants in our program have full time jobs. We understand enrolling in Teacher Training is a commitment and you are not alone! We’ll work with you and your schedule to ensure you feel set up for success during the training.
